Baseball
Norwood Challenger Sports, with support from Norwood Little League and Foxborough Youth Baseball, offers 8 weeks of baseball/softball starting in April.
Practices are held on weeknights at Father MacAleer field in Norwood and on Monday nights at Booth Playground in Foxborough. Games are held on Sunday afternoons, alternating weeks between Norwood and Foxborough.
Norwood Challenger sends teams to the annual Attleboro Challenger Tournament and the annual Portsmouth RI Challenger Jamboree. Both events host teams from all over the region for a fun-filled day which includes lunch, a baseball game against another team and trophies for all participants.
No experience is required, and like all our activities, the main goal is to have fun.
2024 Start dates
All players Monday April 22 at Booth Playground in Foxborough at 6 PM.
Younger players Wednesday April 24 Father
MAC field in Norwood at 6 PM.
Older players April 25 at Father MAC field in Norwood at 6 PM.
First game Sunday April 28 at Kelley Field in Norwood 5 PM.
